Usage

SS-94 time relay is used as a delay control element in secondary circuit relay protection circuit and automatic control of power system.It is suitable for the occasions with high time measurement precision and small time difference.

Working principle and internal wiring

1.The working principle of

This relay is static digital time relay, which is composed of imported CMOS integrated circuit, using frequency division and counting principle to realize delay time.The standard clock pulse is produced by a quartz crystal oscillator.After the rated voltage is applied, the internal transient relay moves and exits to make the crystal vibrate at the same time, generating clock pulse. After frequency division, the clock pulse is counted by the counter. When the measured pulse number reaches the time delay, the flip-flop flips to drive and execute the relay action exit.The principle block diagram of the relay is shown in Figure 1

3.Maintenance

The product should be inspected regularly. First, the appearance should be checked to see if the solder joints of the printed circuit board fall off, and if the wires are folded.Secondly, check whether the DC circuit is working normally.

Working environment conditions

The product shall work reliably under the following conditions a) Ambient temperature: -10 ℃-+ 50℃
b) Atmospheric pressure: 80 K PA-110 k Pa
c) Relative temperature: The average maximum relative temperature of the wettest month is 90%. Meanwhile, the average temperature of the month is 25℃ and there is no condensation on the surface. When the highest temperature is 40℃, the average maximum relative temperature does not exceed 50%;
d) An environment free of conductive dust and corrosive gases that destroy metals and insulation;
e) There is no explosion risk and medium without dust (such as coal ash, abrasive, sawdust, etc.);
f) Working position: tilt not more than 5° in any direction and no severe vibration and impact;
g) The site shall be equipped with rainproof, snow, wind and sand devices and an environment without water vapor;
h) Where there is no more serious mold;

3.Operation value and return value Under the reference condition, the operation voltage of the relay shall not be greater than 70% rated voltage, and the return voltage shall not be less than 10% rated voltage.

4.Delay consistency Under the reference condition, the delay consistency of the relay is not greater than (0.1 % setting value + 3 ms).Delay consistency = maximum value of 5 measurements - minimum value of 5 measurements

5.Under the reference condition, the absolute value of the relay's delay setting error is not greater than (0.1 % setting value + 3 ms) delay average error = the average value of 5 measurements - setting value

6.Return time: Return time should be no more than 25 ms

7.Power consumption: At rated voltage, the power consumption of the relay shall not be greater than that specified in Table

8. Contact performance
In A dc inductive load circuit with voltage no more than 250 V and current no more than 1 A (time constant 5 ms+ 0.75 ms), the contact disconnection capacity is 30 W.

9. Dielectric strength
The electrical terminals of the relay shall be connected to the exposed non-charged metal parts or housing, and shall be able to withstand the test of 2 K V(effective value) 50 Hz AC voltage for 1 min without insulation breakdown or flashering phenomenon.

 

Appearance and hole size

The relay adopts an embedded insert structure. See figure 3 attached to this manual for its appearance and installation hole size.
