SSJ series static time relays (hereinafter referred to as relays) are used as delay devices in secondary circuit relay protection and automatic control circuit of power system to enable controlled components to obtain the required delay time.This relay is a static relay of integrated circuit, with high precision, low power consumption, accurate operation time, convenient setting and wide range. The working power adopts switching power transformation, common ac/DC, and can completely replace the electromagnetic time relay.

Product composition and working principle

1. The delay precision of this relay is much higher than that of DS electromagnetic time relay, which can meet the requirement of shortening the protection time level difference in power system relay protection, and is the ideal replacement product of time relay at present.The external structure, internal wiring, working mode and setting range of the relay are the same as those of DS series time relays, except that the setting mode is different. When the three-digit number of the code switch is multiplied by 0.01s or 0.15 time, the basis is the setting time, and there is no need to verify the changing setting value.

2. This relay is an action delay digital time relay, which is composed of imported CMOS integrated circuit. The relay is composed of an oscillator, a frequency divider and a three-suction pulse counting ring, and the delay value is set by BCD code dial switch.

The technical requirements

1. The rating and specifications are shown in the table above.

2. Delay accuracy
a. Average error of delay setting value: under the reference condition, the average absolute error of relay delay setting value is not greater than 0.1%+3ms of the setting value;
Mean error = (mean value of 5 measurements - setting value/setting value ×100%.
b. Delay consistency: under the reference condition, the delay consistency of the relay shall not be greater than 3-10ms of the setting value).
c. The average error of any delay setting value (including the absolute value of consistency not greater than 0.1%+5ms of setting value) at -10~50℃.

3. Operating voltage: When the operating voltage is not more than 70% of the probable voltage, the relay shall work reliably.

4. Return time of relay
When the electrical power is cut off, the time for the outlet contact to return to the starting position shall not be greater than 25ms for the type using DC power supply

5. Return voltage of relay
When the relay voltage is lowered not less than 10% of the rated voltage, the relay contact should be returned reliably.

6. Power consumption
DC48V, no more than 2W
DC110v or AC100-127V, not greater than 4.5W (6.5VA) DC or AC220V, not greater than 8.1W (13VA).

7. Thermal performance requirements
This series of relays can be operated with power on for a long time. When the ambient temperature is 50℃, they can withstand 1.1 credit rated voltage for a long time.

8. Power operation characteristics: the relay can work normally when the power is slowly rising or falling, suddenly on/off or powered by jitter contact, and there is no zero-second outlet or transient outlet.
